Please click the "Make a Booking" on the Menu at the top of the page. A Booking Fee of 50 % of the Charter Fee is due upon making a reservation, and is non-refundable.
We accept Credit and Debit cards for the Booking Fee.
On the day of the charter, the balance is to be paid by cash or Credit or Debit card before the commencement of the trip. The VAT applicable to the entire booking is due at this point.
Also, before commencing the charter, a Security Deposit will also be pre-authorized on the card of the customer. For avoidance of doubt, VAT is not applicable to the Security Deposit.
The Mediterranean coast is beautiful and idyllic, but it can at times show its dangerous face. Even in summer there are days with bad weather, sometimes leading to dangerous conditions for boating.
Safety is paramount for us. In the event of unforeseen bad weather that implies big waves, heavy rain, and/or strong wind, we reserve the right to reschedule the booking to another available date, and will not be liable to pay any compensation for the said change.
If there is light rain and there are no dangerous sea conditions the charter may proceed and will not be considered a reason to cancel or postpone. The itinerary could also be modified for weather reasons, at the discretion of the captain, the cost arising from it being borne by us.
1. If cancelled more than 30 days in advance: Customer will not liable to pay the balance due on the day of the charter.
2.If cancelled 30 to 14 days: Customer will be liable for the payment of 30% of the amount due on the day of the charter, including 30% of the Skipper Fee.
3.If cancelled within less than 14 days in advance, or no-show: Customer will be liable to pay the full amount due on the day of the charter, including the full Skipper Fee.
Please bear in mind that the initial 50% Booking Fee is always non-refundable, and in the situations of cancellations within less than 30 days or no-shows, customers will be liable to pay any outstanding amount.
This is standard practice in the field of boat charters, as it is often impossible to fill last-minute cancellations, resulting in huge losses for the operators.
In exceptional cases when customers can justify force-majeure situations requiring rescheduling, we will do our best to provide an alternative date whenever possible, the approval always remaining at the discretion of the management.
While we do our best to keep the vessel in perfect condition, sometimes breakdowns can happen. In such rare cases we will do our best to provide an alternative boat with similar characteristics. In case no other boats are available we will refund the full amount paid to us by the customer.
If the Skipper is unwell and unable to be on duty, we will do our best to have a substitute. If no Skipper is available and we are forced to cancel the trip, we will refund the full amount paid to us by the customer.
Smoking and Drugs are strictly not allowed onboard. Throwing anything into the water is an offence under Spanish and International regulations.
In the event of any of the above, the Skipper has the right to terminate the charter immediately and return to the port of his choice, without our Company or the Skipper having any liability for any refunds or compensation.
The deck is cleaned regularly and is a nice surface to step on barefoot.
When going onboard, we require our guests to take off their shoes and pass them to the Skipper, who will put them inside a mesh bag to be stored inside the cabin or a storage compartment onboard. Upon return to port, the shoes will be given back by the Skipper.
We appreciate your understanding and willingness to keep our vessel immaculate so that other people can enjoy it.
According to maritime regulations, the Skipper, or Captain, is the ultimate authority onboard a vessel, and carries a high degree of responsibility.
Any violent, illegal, or dangerous behavior will have to be dealt with and/or reported to the authorities by the Skipper.
We trust that a friendly and amicable atmosphere can be maintained at all times. We will certainly do our best on our part.
Meals and accommodation are not included in our Fees. Guests are advised to bring their own food onboard if they wish to snack onboard. We are also able to assist with recommendations for places to stop and eat along the route. It is preferable to plan the meals days before the departure to optimize the itinerary and prevent unnecessary detours, stops, and unavailable tables.
On custom itineraries we can plan routes that include a gastronomic exploration. Catalunya is not only blessed with natural beauty, but it also features one of the richest cuisines as part of its enormous cultural heritage.
For multi-day itineraries, guests should arrange their own accommodation. As with the meals, we will do our best to advise you on lodging options. There are many beautiful towns with wonderful hotels and guesthouses along the coast. Prices can be high though, and availability tight in summer, so it is best to book weeks or months in advance.
Staying on board overnight is not possible.
Talk to us to tell us what your interests are. We will be happy to advise and help you choose the right itinerary for you.
